Jax Taylor’s most recent podcast interview probably did not help his image as much as he hoped it would. Unsurprisingly, The Valley’s own only made Brittany Cartwright look better while making himself look worse.
If anything, Jax only continued to prove Brittany was right when she said he was not better after rehab. While Jax mostly spent the podcast rationalizing and defending, he at least expressed some measure of self-awareness. For example, Jax described Brittany’s fling with Julian Sensley as “a taste of [his] own medicine.”
But even that was a false equivalency since Brittany can see whomever she wants as a single woman, unlike Jax whom Brittany caught with women in their home as a married man. And even though Jax interpreted Brittany’s fling as Karma, that didn’t stop him from overreacting.
Jax Taylor’s circle staged an intervention after his “out-of-body experience”
Jax recently appeared on Bravo’s Hot Mic Podcast. During his interview, he told about a Fourth of July trip he took. “I’ll be honest, we had relations before I left, literally right before I left,” he said. Allegedly, the relationship seemed to be improving. “I come back home, and I said, ‘Hey, what do you think about moving back?’ And she said, ‘Yeah.’”
Unfortunately, things turned for the worse when Jax saw Brittany’s text messages. “I just saw the iPad, and she was still talking to Julian and sending him pictures, like naked pictures and pictures of my son, and I just lost it.”
“And that’s where I hit the bottom of the barrel. That’s where I just saw red.” Jax described it as an “out-of-body experience,” adding that he “went crazy” and “threw furniture.” He described it as his “breaking point.” Jax said Cruz was not in the room at the time. After the incident, one of Jax’s friends organized an intervention and encouraged him to get help. Additionally, Bravo apparently advised Jax he needed to go to rehab to continue filming The Valley.
The Valley is streaming on Peacock.
