Jax Taylor is busy setting up his new house, including an adorable room for his son, Cruz.

On September 30, The Valley cast member, who moved August amid his separation from Brittany Cartwright, took to Instagram to share more details about how he was getting his new house ready for their son.
The Jax's Studio City entrepreneur first posted a photo of himself laying on a brand new mattress. "Only the best [Polysleep] mattress for Cruzy," Jax captioned the series of photos of himself lounging on the bed that looked perfectly cozy for his little one. The West Coast dad also revealed he placed the mattress on a black bed frame.
In his Instagram Stories, Jax then showed off the finished product, which featured a multicolored area rug, a black-framed bed, and white bedding with black-and-white-patterned sheets. Cruz's adorable bed also had a large dinosaur stuffed animal and what looked like a small koala stuffed animal by a black throw pillow.
For a finishing touch, there is also also a small side table next to the bed.
When Jax panned over to another area of the room, we saw a small wood dresser, several framed dinosaur prints hanging on the wall, a mounted TV, and a large black bean bag.
"It's almost done," Jax said in the Instagram video as he walked through the room. "I got a love sac bean bag here but I gotta put that cover on."

During a September 13 episode of his podcast, When Reality Hits, Jax gave more details about his new place after moving out of his and Brittany's old home, calling it "absolutely beautiful." He also noted it was "super safe" for Cruz.
Moreover, Jax gushed about living next door to Vanderpump Rules' Tom Schwartz, who also has a townhouse. "He is my best friend at the end of the day," Jax shared. "And if I need help with something, if I need help with Cruz, he's right there."
"I'm really happy here," he continued. "And I honestly can't wait for Brittany to see this place. I know it's going to take time for her to come here, but I really can't wait for her to see it."
