Jax Taylor to Launch New Podcast, In the Mind of a Man

Is Jax Taylor’s shared podcast with Brittany Cartwright done for good? We don’t know. But The Valley star has decided to launch a new podcast, In the Mind of a Man. Longtime fans of Jax might recognize the podcast’s name.

Jax Taylor to Launch New Podcast, In the Mind of a Man

On October 11, Jax dropped an episode of When Reality Hits titled, “In the Mind of a Man”. The episode description explained, “Former 3-Week guy, Jax Taylor fields all of your questions about why guys act the way they do in relationships including breadcrumbing, love bombing, ghosting, situationships, soul mates, cheating, hall passes, and gaslighting.”

It would seem Jax’s new podcast will take the premise of this single episode and stretch it as much as possible. A fan has to wonder if When Reality Hits will remain the same. Is Brittany taking over the formerly shared podcast all on her own? Or will things continue as normal and Jax will run two podcasts? Until we find out, here’s what we know about In the Mind of a Man.

What can Jax Taylor’s fans expect from his new podcast, In the Mind of a Man?

In October 2024, Jax set up a private Instagram account for his upcoming podcast, In the Mind of a Man. The Instagram account’s bio said the podcast would be “coming soon”. It also described the show as “exposing & decoding a man’s brain one episode at a time”. Of course, this wouldn’t be the first time Jax tried to ‘decode a man’s brain.’

Upon having one’s follow request accepted, an Instagram user will find four posts up on the account as of October 29, 2024. The earliest post is from October 16. It shows Jax in front of his microphone taking a question from a fan. The question asks why a prospective partner gives sporadic attention.

The other video shows Jax taking another question about a husband growing distant after his wife had their children. Jax said, “This is another tough one, because this is kind of what happened between Brittany and I.” Before Jax could explain more, the clip cuts off.

The other two posts on the account are graphics defining “breadcrumbing” and “situationship”. The definitions are lifted from Cleveland Clinic Health Essentials and Verywell Mind, respectively, without any credit to or citation of those sources.

The Valley is streaming on Peacock.
