With Aaron Rodgers' future still in flux, FOX's Jay Glazer is coming to the defense of one of the league's most polarizing personalities.

Jay Glazer Sends Important Message To Everyone About Aaron Rodgers

People have grown increasingly tired of the future Hall of Fame QB taking his time and holding interested teams hostage while he mulls over whether or not he wants to keep playing football.

But the FOX Sports insider is pleading with fans to have some empathy when it comes to players making decisions on the back-nine of their career.

"Making decisions late in career is hard!! I know people want answers now but it's unlike any other sport. The thought of losing the locker room is reallllllly hard on guys," Glazer posted to X.

"Let @AaronRodgers12 make his decision on HIS time. I know that's not popular but this is a life decision, HIS decision. The finality of football is different than anything else. Plus it's your last team. The finality all weighs in."

Glazer's words might've fallen on deaf ears in his mentions.

"So over it already - just my $.02. Couldn't care less where Rodgers plays next year," a fan said.

"How are teams supposed to plan?" another asked. "If he needs to think this hard maybe retire?"

"Living up to your last name, I see," a user replied.

"yes, let the athlete who has been pampered and entitled his whole life continue to live a life where only his opinion and wants and needs matter," another person commented. "It is the same as in anything else, man. Either take the job or don't. Retire or don't. The world doesn't revolve around any 1 person."

"Come on. He loves the drama. He loves the idea of people waiting on him. He needs to feel more important than he is. The guy is washed."

"brother the majority of the people on this planet do not give a [expletive] about aaron rodgers and his conspiracy theories," another user exclaimed.

Rodgers is reportedly hoping to sign with the Vikings this offseason over the Giants or Steelers. And if he doesn't end up in Minnesota (like his former mentor Brett Favre) The Athletic says retirement is on the table.
