As Bachelor Nation celebrates Jenn Tran kicking off her Bachelorette journey, the leading lady can’t help but get sentimental as she looks back at her younger self.
Ahead of the season premiere this week, Jenn took to Instagram to share childhood photos of herself and wrote, “Little Jenn wouldn’t even believe me if I told her what tomorrow is.”
She also shared a video of herself with her giant billboard in Times Square and wrote, “To all the boys who used to make fun of me in school…”
Many of Jenn’s fellow Bachelor Nation stars filled the comments of her posts with sweet responses to her throwback photos.
Jesse Palmer said, “A little superstar in the making!!!”
Daisy Kent wrote, “This is ADORABLE!”
Jasmine Nguyen added, “SO excited for you!”
And Edwina Dorbor wrote, “Omg Jenn, these are so cute!”
Jenn has been open about how much it means to her to be the first Asian American lead of the show and recently spoke to BachelorNation.com about whether she feels any pressure with that responsibility.
She said, “Of course I feel pressure. A lot of it actually comes from me wanting to be a good role model and do it ‘right,’ whatever that means. At the end of the day, I tell myself that it’s just about being myself and telling my story the best that I can.”
Jenn added, “It’s not necessarily about pleasing other people, which I do have a problem with, because I want everyone to be able to relate and learn from me. At the end of the day, I’m just so grateful and honored to be the first Asian American lead and to be able to tell my story.”
We can’t wait to watch Jenn’s journey unfold and we know that this is just the beginning.
Little Jenn would be so proud!!!
