Jerry Jones, Cowboys Under Fire After Stadium Decision for Mike Tyson-Jake Paul Fight

Dallas Cowboys fans are not happy after seeing what AT&T Stadium did for the Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul fight on Friday night.

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones wants to be known as football man

Ahead of the highly anticipated showdown between Tyson and Paul, the AT&T Stadium X account shared a couple of photos to showcase the overall set-up of the event.

What fans immediately noticed, however, was the fact that curtains were used for the showdown. Now, it is important to note that the venue often uses the curtains for concerts and other events, per Sporting News. Still, it didn't please the Dallas faithful.

Several Cowboys fans took issue with the decision since Jerry Jones and the Cowboys, who operate AT&T Stadium, have refused to use the curtains to block the sun during NFL games.

"Oh so now your put the [expletive] curtains up," a commenter wrote.

Another one said, "Surely Jerry Jones will continue to leave the curtains down when the Cowboys play."

"You want any more proof that the football team means very little to Jerry and it’s all about being 'entertainment' and the almighty dollar," a critic added. "I think I spy curtains. Ladies and gentlemen we have a new worst owner in sports!!"

"This is how you know he don't want to win! Put up curtains for a fight but not for your team?!" a disappointed fan further stated.

A social media user noted, "Why no sunlight? Oh because Jerry Jones loves money more than winning."

It's understandable why Cowboys fans are mad at Jerry Jones and the team, though. After all, in Dallas' Week 10 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, wide receiver CeeDee Lamb got blinded by the sun and lost the ball in what could have been a much-needed touchdown.

Since the AT&T Stadium's end zones are situated in the east and west, the sun shines through the large windows during clear days. Sure enough, it has been a cause of distraction for teams during games that kick off in the afternoon.

It has been an issue for the Cowboys for a long time, but unfortunately, Jones refuses to address the issue and just use the curtains.
