Jessica "Jess" Edwards might have rubbed people the wrong way on The Bachelor season 28 — infamously getting the first "smoochie-poo" with Joey Graziadei — so much so that the Southern charmer found herself unlucky in love by the end of the beloved competition series. Because of this, she is ready to grace our television screens again (for better or worse), participating in the monumental tenth season of Bachelor in Paradise.
For those who are unfamiliar with Jess, the 26-year-old executive assistant from
Erwin, Tennessee "loves belting out Taylor Swift’s songs, trying new restaurants and spending time with her adorable Yorkipoo named Charli" when she is not working. As far as her Bachelor journey goes, Jess' relationship with Joey was seemingly going strong on The Bachelor season 28, but after getting caught up in some drama with villain turned fan favorite Maria Georgas, she was eventually eliminated in week six. Yikes.
Although Joey was not her perfect match, Jess is hopeful she will find forever love on Bachelor in Paradise season 10. Unfortunately, her taste in men is questionable (to say the least), revealing to Extra TV which oh-so controversial contestant she hopes will hit the beach this summer — keep scrolling to see for yourself.
"It's always a little scary thinking about coming back, but, you know, I'm ready to find love," she said about her return to Bachelor Nation. "I've still been searching for the past two years, so you know, I figured why not give it another shot?"
"I'm super hopeful that I'll find my fairy tale ending here... I'm gonna be super open," she added, and we are hopeful the second time's the charm for the Tennessee native.
To follow, Jess shared with the outlet two men she is "excited to meet" in Paradise, all while keeping her options open. Starting out on a more positive note, the 26-year-old admitted that The Bachelor season 21 alum Spencer Conley piques her interest. How cute is that?
Transitioning to a more negative note, though, she admitted that she is interested in another The Bachelor season 21 alum, one who caused a great deal of controversy among both fans of the franchise and his fellow contestants: Sam McKinney.
