Jordan Love Issues Confident Take About Week 14 Game vs. Detroit Lions

Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers are on a roll, as they have won all of their last three games. However, even that kind of success is not enough to catch the Detroit Lions atop the NFC North division standings.

Through 14 weeks, the Packers are 9-3, which isn’t too shabby. But the Lions own an 11-1 record — the best not just in the NFC North but in the entire conference as well.

Green Bay Packer QB Jordan Love is ready for Round 2 vs. Detroit Lions

The Packers are third in the NFC North, behind the Lions and the 10-2 Minnesota Vikings, but they still believe they can make a late-season surge to keep them in contention for a division title. A win in Week 14 against the Lions could boost Green Bay’s chances on that front. That is a crucial game that Love is locked in on leading his team.

Jordan Love kept his answer short when asked about what’s at stake Thursday in Detroit and how it’s the last realistic shot to stay in the division race.

The upcoming game on Thursday versus the Lions is also a chance for Green Bay to avenge its 24-14 loss at Lambeau Field to Detroit. In that contest, Love threw for 273 passing yards with no touchdowns on 23-for-39 pass completions. He also threw a pick-six to Lions safety Kerby Joseph.

Since that loss, though, Love and the Packers have looked terrific. They enter Week 14 on a three-game win streak, including their Thanksgiving 30-17 home win over the Miami Dolphins.
