The Buffalo Bills are fresh off a win over the New York Jets.
It seemed like this was going to be a shootout based on how the first half played out, but it ended up being relatively low-scoring by the time the game was over.
Josh Allen and Aaron Rodgers did battle it out for their first matchup as AFC East rivals, a contest that many were looking forward to.
Allen was able to squeak by the legendary QB in this Monday night battle.
Allen was asked about how the team pulled out such a gritty win while being without many of their top players.
As Zach Gelb reported on X, Allen responded, “Resilient guys. Proud of how Ty and Ray Ray stepped up in the run game, our guys blocked their tails off.”

The Bills surprisingly scratched James Cook ahead of this game, their top running back option.
Cook hadn’t missed a game in his career to that point, and fans were concerned that the run game would suffer without him.
However, as Allen mentioned, Ty Johnson and Ray Davis both played well, with the unexpectedly dynamic duo putting up a combined 131 rushing yards and adding 55 receiving yards from Davis.
The Bills looked like the Kansas City Chiefs during this game in the way that they found a way to win with the players they had on the field.
They might have had a disadvantage on paper, but with Allen’s playmaking and strong coaching, it all worked out in the end.
