Josh Jacobs powers Packers to 7-0 lead on opening drive

The Packers elected to take the ball after winning the opening coin toss and certainly sent a message with their first drive.

Josh Jacobs capped a 10-play, 63-yard drive with a 1-yard touchdown to give Green Bay an early 7-0 lead over Seattle.

Coming off a long weekend after the Packers played last Thursday, Jacobs received nine touches on Green Bay’s first 10 plays. He took seven carries for 27 yards and caught two passes for 17 yards.

Quarterback Jordan Love got the other 4 yards on the possession, scrambling for a 4-yard gain on second-and-goal from the 5.

Jacobs has now tied his career-high with 12 rushing touchdowns this season.
