Bachelor Nations stars Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason Tartick got engaged in May 2021.
The two were together for over four years but announced last summer that they were ending their engagement and going their separate ways.
While they were together, Jason and Kaitlyn welcomed two dogs into their lives — golden retrievers Ramen and Pinot.
Earlier this year, Jason revealed that while they split, they were still planning on co-parenting their dogs.
At the time, he shared that, “We currently co-parent them by splitting the months in half.”
Now, the exes are celebrating five years since adopting Ramen in sweet posts.
Jason shared a video picking Ramen up and wrote, “5 years ago to the day, Ramen was rescued and landed in the United States. From that day on, he will forever live a safe and happy life. Of all the memories in the last five years of him, this is one I’ll never ever forget. #adoptdontshop.”
Kaitlyn also shared a video from when she first met their dog and got emotional with her caption.
The former Bachelorette wrote, “5 years since I rescued my soul dog. From the streets of South Korea, being saved by @bunnysbuddies and a couple surgeries, he came to Nashville. Through a lot of love and rehab we got him into the confident king he is today. My heart grew 10 sizes that day. I like to pretend I birthed him because he is my baby. I love you rammyyyyyy.”
The rescue org commented on Kaitlyn’s post, writing, “Will never forget his story or your support! Thank you for always helping these pups and being genuine in your love for them no matter what.”
We love seeing these two continue to love on their dogs and we are so glad Ramen has two such wonderful homes.
