Kathy revealed the "most important thing" in Kyle's life at the moment amid her split from Mauricio Umansky.
Kathy Hilton has been married for 45 years to Rick Hilton, but she still has some sisterly words of wisdom for Kyle Richards on dating.
While attending The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member Sutton Stracke's fashion show on July 22, Kathy weighed in on the ongoing separation between Kyle and her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky. In fact, Kathy has more recently been encouraging Kyle to get back out there and explore the possibility of dating, but Kathy told Us Weekly that she thinks "it will take a while."
"You know, I think right now her daughters are the most important thing," Kathy explained to Us Weekly, referring to Farrah Brittany Aldjufrie, Alexia Umansky, Sophia Umansky, and Portia Umansky. "She’s working so much that it’s hard to get out there and, you know, after working all day, you’re kind of tired."
Still, Kathy added when speaking separately to E! News the message she for Kyle these days: "I said to her, ‘You’ve gotta get out there!’"
Has Kyle Richards filed for divorce from Mauricio Umansky yet?
Not yet, but she did recently change her Instagram bio. On July 18, eagle-eyed fans noticed that Kyle appeared to change her Instagram bio from "Mom, wife, actor, producer, animal lover..." to "Mom, actor, author, producer, animal lover..."
The removal of the word "wife" could be indicative of the status of Kyle and Mauricio's separation. The pair confirmed their split after months of speculation in October 2023, though neither party has made legal moves toward dissolving the union.
Kyle has been open about the fact that she does not have a prenup with Mauricio.
"We did not have a prenup," the diamond holder shared during an appearance on Jeff Lewis Live in January 2024. "My husband did not have a penny when I married him… He was in the clothing business when I met him, making no money."
"He didn’t have any money when I married him and it’s our money," she continued. "Let’s be very clear about that. It’s [a] very clean cut. Everything is half regardless."
