Keller Fornes, 'County Rescue' and 'The Walking Dead' actor, dies at 32

Keller Fornes, the actor best known for his role as Griffin on Great American Family's medical drama County Rescue, has died at the age of 32.

Fornes died Dec. 19 in Eastland, Texas, according to an obituary from Lacy Funeral Home. His cause of death was not specified. A memorial service will be held on Jan. 11 at Cowboy Church of Erath County in Stephenville, Texas.

Great American Family said they were saddened by the passing in a statement shared on social media, remembering Fornes as a "special person and talent as an actor, writer, and director as well as a singer and musician."

"His energy and enthusiasm lifted all he worked with here at Great American Media and the cast and crew of County Rescue," said the cable network. "Our prayers are with his family and all those he touched.

Fornes starred alongside Julia Reilly, Riley Hough, Percy Bell, Kristin Wollett, Brett Varvel, Stacey Patino, Tim Ross, Angel Luis, and Curtia Torbert on the GAF hit County Rescue, a drama about the professional and personal lives of EMTs and paramedics. The series from creator Brian Baugh began production for season 2 last summer and is slated to premiere sometime this month.

Reilly and Wollett are among the costars who've paid tribute to Fornes following the news of his death. Reilly shared photos with Fornes on her Instagram Story and wrote "miss you," while Wollett shared a Reel montage and wrote that Fornes was "in our hearts, always."

Fornes' other television credits include one-episode appearances on The Walking Dead, Homicide Hunter, Genius, and Found. Film credits include Somnium, Origin, and Do You Believe? He also filmed the movie Hellbilly Hollow prior to his passing.

Hailing from Lubbock, Texas, Fornes also enjoyed painting, singing, and playing the guitar. He is survived by his wife Margie; parents Kimberly Lynn Fornes and Kobe Scott Fornes; and brothers Charles “Keaton” Fornes and Kason Lynn Fornes.
