Kristin Juszczyk explains why she's still salty about the 49ers missing the playoffs for first time since 2020

Most inside the San Francisco 49ers organization will have already turned the page to 2025 following the franchise's first losing season since 2020. While the year was an extreme disappointment, there are positive sides to a down year for the 49ers, with their players having more time to recover for 2025, and Kyle Shanahan and John Lynch being able to work on a less compressed timeline as they prepare the coaching staff and roster for next season.

But Kristin Juszczyk, wife of All-Pro fullback Kyle, is still thinking about what might have been had the 49ers been a more consistent and healthier football team in 2024.

She became a household name last year through manufacturing custom jackets for games for the likes of Taylor Swift and Simone Biles.

Juszczyk entered into a licensing agreement with the NFL and recently launched the 'Off Season' apparel collection, selling custom jackets made for several teams around the league.

After sharing some the pictures sent to her of fans wearing the apparel on her Instagram story, Juszczyk revealed why she is still feeling bitter about the 49ers falling well short of expectations

"Truly would have never thought I would be sitting on the couch during the playoffs watching everyone wear my designs," she wrote. "Life is crazy man. I'm obsessed with all of you and I'm constantly looking at my DMs to see all your tags!!!

"But also a tad salty bc I had so many playoff ideas."

Juszczyk is used to supporting the 49ers in the playoffs given the consistency with which they have made the postseason under Kyle Shanahan.

The hope will be that this season was just an unexpected blip for a perennial contender. With what a lot of draft capital to work with and plenty of cap space to allow them to absorb Brock Purdy's upcoming contract and still make additions to the roster, there's a strong chance the 49ers will be in a position to bounce back and make the playoffs in 2025.

But that will only happen, and Juszczyk will only get to try out her playoff designs, if the Niners get the key decisions in a critical offseason correct.
