Kyle Richards and Brandi Glanville are calling out their former bestie and RHOBH co-star, Lisa Vanderpump, for her recent comments on the Call Her Daddy podcast.
On Amazon Live, Kyle Richards called out Lisa Vanderpump for taking jabs at her separation from her husband, Mauricio Umansky.
“It’s so funny how Lisa loves to do these kinds of jab and then does the, I am not saying, you know, this is always what she’s done. You know, it’s very classic LVP. And I’m actually happy to talk about her backyard too. I’d love to talk about that. So, if she wants to talk like that, then I would be happy to get into it with her about her side of the street. But I don’t think she wants that,” Kyle said.
When asked what Lisa Vanderpump said during her appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Kyle explained:
“She said something like, ‘Oh, you know, these people who are like happy on the show and, you know, calling each other love bean, and this and that, you know, oh, please, nobody’s that happy. And you know, then you find out they’re getting separated.’ Like trying to imply that when I was, you know, showing myself being happy that I actually wasn’t, which is an absolute lie. And she knows that, and she does that to be really mean. And then she goes on to say, ‘I’m not saying who I’m talking about.”‘
She continued: “I would never do such a thing. This is always what she does, and this is why all of the women, and I say all, feel the way they feel and felt. And yeah, so, you know, of course, that’s not the popular thing to say because if you don’t know her, it’s all so fabulous. But it’s just so classic her, I mean, people sent that to me were like, it’s just so, like, she never changes or grows or learns. So you know what? She can, like I said, worry about her backyard, and I’m happy to talk about it if I bump into her.”
Brandi Glanville, on the other hand, clapped back at LVP’s recent comments on Twitter. The RHOBH alum took issue with Lisa Vanderpump’s claim that she doesn’t “condone cheating” but had no problem using Scheana Shay‘s affair with her now ex-husband, Eddie Cibran, to launch her Bravo spinoff show, Vanderpump Rules.
“I just saw that LVP was on a podcast & said “she doesn’t condone cheating” & would never put up with it on her show if she knew. However, she begged me to sit down with a woman that she knew was fucking my husband to get the l spin-off show Vanderpump Rules:/ #Lies,” Brandi wrote.
“You cannot claim you are a private person when you do reality television!! Just saying.”
As previously reported, Lisa Vanderpump appeared on Alex Cooper’s podcast Call Her Daddy last week. During the episode, she discussed breakup drama among her fellow Bravolebrities.
“Well, there was somebody that recently had this kind of complicated scenario in one of the shows — I’m not telling you [which show it was] — and I kind of knew. I’ve known,” Lisa Vanderpump admitted.
“Sometimes, people don’t want to hear it,” she added.
While host Alex Cooper pushed LVP to name names while mentioning her former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-stars Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley, who are both currently going through separations with their husbands, the Vanderpump Rules star played coy.
“No, you’re not guessing or doing or saying anything because that’s not a headline I’m living with. So, no, it’s not either of them. It could be, but it’s not,” the Bravolebrity said.
However, she pondered aloud: “You know what I find surprising? They’re on a reality show, and they’re living their lives — and of course, all marriages have problems — but then suddenly they get divorced, but they’ve been saying, “Oh, love bean. My king. Or my this or my that.”
“Life’s not like that. You have two imperfect people living together, and that’s bulls**t,” Lisa added. “How many times have you seen this? Especially on that show that I used to be on. How many times where [my former co-stars said], ‘Everything’s just going great, just fine,’ and then, ‘Oh, we’re getting a divorce.’ Oh, OK. Or, ‘Oh, we’ve separated, we’ve separated,’ when it’s been going on for months and years.”
RHOBH is expected to return to Bravo in late 2024 or early 2025.
