The RHOBH cast member also revealed how she and the Grammy nominee first met: "She's very talented."
Kyle Richards isn’t just a fan of Kesha’s music; she’s also one of the singer’s closest friends.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member spoke about the bond in her latest Amazon Live stream with special guest Nurse Jamie. Toward the end of the broadcast, a viewer asked Kyle to shed more light on her friendship with Kesha and explain how they first met.
“She was following me on Instagram and then I followed her back,” Kyle said. “And then we messaged each other and we got together for dinner. She’s so great. … She’s very talented. She is such a sweet person. So, we met like that.”

Since then, Kyle and Kesha have hit the slopes together and even got tatted up in the former’s Encino home. The Beverly Hills ’Wife also defended her pal during a July chat with TMZ, just days after Kesha had shut down her online body-shamers.
“I do not understand that. It’s 2024 and she’s gorgeous,” Kyle said about the criticism Kesha faced. “And she’s even more beautiful on the inside. I don’t know why people are still talking about women’s bodies. It’s 2024, they need to move on.”
The post in question was shared on July 7, shortly after Kyle and Kesha were spotted dancing at Aspen’s Caribou Club. The singer-songwriter posted a couple of bikini photos and an empowering message about self-love.
“I didn’t think in 2024 people still body shamed but. i am so proud of my body. she’s been through a lot,” Kesha wrote. “She’s torn her acl on stage and finished the show. she’s held my f-cking broken heart together. to those who think you’re shaming me, you’re actually making me feel very powerful. so, to you, i hope you one day feel whole enough to not tear other women down.”
Kyle was among those who supported Kesha in the comments section, writing: “So beautiful inside and out.”
