The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member has a trick for making her home extra cozy this time of year.
Kyle Richards' family home in Encino is getting super cozy for the upcoming holiday season. Not only does The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member go all out on her decorating this time of year (more on that later), but she has a super fun hack for making the house seem extra warm and moody.
The mom of four took to Amazon Live on Tuesday, October 15, where she revealed her favorite way for setting the mood in her house — which involves the lighting. "I am obsessed with this color," Kyle said, holding up an amber-colored candle.
"I've gone through my house and changed all my regular lightbulbs to amber-colored bulbs," she explained. "Almost all. My bedrooms, yes. And now I'm working on the rest of the house because it just looks prettier. Instead of that stark, white lighting, I want amber lighting."
Although she didn't explicitly state what light bulbs she uses, she did note that it had made a big change to her house. Hey, if it makes Kyle's home feel even prettier than it already is, then why wouldn't she love it?

This amber lighting goes perfectly with her home decorations for this time of year. In late September, Kyle's second youngest daughter, Sophia Umansky, took to her Instagram Story, where she showed off Kyle's front porch, which she had already decorated for Halloween.
In the photos, Sophia can be seen embracing one of Kyle's six dogs in front of the front steps, adorned with planters filled with jack-o-lanterns and fall foliage. The lanterns, surrounding the black front door, appear to be lit with flames, giving it an extra eerie vibe. A "hello fall" sign, leaning against the house, perfectly rounds out the warm and welcoming look.
