The RHOBH mom shared another update on her daughter's wedding plans: "She's so excited."
Kyle Richards was moved to tears during her recent trip to New York City.
As you might recall, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member headed to the Big Apple last week to catch Erika Jayne's performance in Chicago the musical. Kyle documented the event in a series of Instagram Stories, showing her and her daughters Sophia and Alexia Umansky enjoying their fun-filled night on Broadway.
Kyle takes Alexia wedding dress shopping: "Time flies too quickly"
Kyle shed more light on the family getaway in her February 4 Amazon Live stream, saying she and her girls also looked at potential wedding dresses for Alexia. Although she didn't provide many details about the shopping trip, Kyle confessed the experience was unexpectedly emotional.
“I didn’t think I was going to be this person, but the first dress she came out in, I started crying,” she recalled. “Such a cliche. Oh my gosh, so embarrassing.
“I don’t know what it is. It’s like that scene in the Father of the Bride when the little girl says to her dad, ‘I’m getting married,’ and all of sudden he looks and it’s a 5-year-old talking. That’s how I felt,” Kyle continued. “I was looking at her and thinking, ‘But she’s just a baby.’ And it just makes you realize how fast time flies. It was happy and exciting and then it was little, like, ‘Oh my gosh. Time flies too quickly.’ But it was really fun looking at wedding dresses and she is so excited.”
Kyle says Alexia and her fiancé, Jake Zingerman, go way back
Alexia announced her engagement to Jake Zingerman in early November 2024, hours after Jake popped the question at their SoCal home. Although the couple had been dating for roughly five years, Kyle previously confirmed they had known each other since grade school.
“Alexia has been friends with Jake since second grade — best friends — but they’ve been dating for four years, almost five years now,” she said in a June 2024 Amazon Live stream. “They are a very, very, very cute couple and they’re great together. And we just love him so much.”

Kyle spilled more details about Alexia’s wedding plans during the February 4 episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show, saying Alexia and Jake would tie the knot on September 6, 2025, in Aspen.
"I think I'm going to be a cool, calm, collected mother of the bride," Kyle said. "Alexia is very hands-on. She knows exactly what she wants. She is planning like crazy. She has a very clear vision of what she wants and, basically, we just have to pay for it.”
