Kyle Richards "tried" to make her friendship work with Garcelle Beauvais after she exited The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after Season 14.

Kyle took to Amazon Live earlier this week, where she shared an update on where she stands today with the RHOBH alum, months after she announced back in March that Garcelle would be departing the show. Kyle had previously spoken about their friendship in April, and now is revealing if anything has changed since then.

Kyle says she tried talking to Garcelle following the exit and attempted to make their friendship work, but they remain estranged. "She doesn't...I don't know. I don't even know what I did," she said on the livestream. "So. You know, I don't know. Whatever friendship I was happy about, I guess she didn't feel the same. So that's that."

Kyle Richards wishes Garcelle Beauvais "the best" after her RHOBH exit

Kyle spoke with E! News in April 2025 where she revealed that she had reached out to Garcelle after she announced her departure. "I texted her twice and haven't heard back," she said at the time. "It's unfortunate she left, but I do wish her the best."

"I think she'll always do well, so I'm not worried about her next chapter," she added.

During an Amazon Livestream in May, Kyle admitted that she had still not heard back from Garcelle. "Everybody's kind of perplexed," she added.

"You know, I don't know. I don't even know what happened there," she concluded.

Why Garcelle Beauvais decided to leave RHOBH after Season 14

Garcelle took to Instagram on March 25, where she explained why she decided to leave RHOBH after joining the cast in Season 10. "I have some news: I've decided to leave Beverly Hills," she said in the video. "It's been a wild ride — I mean, some amazing things have happened and some hard things have also happened — but it's been a ride nevertheless."

She continued, noting that she plans to focus on her sons, Jax and Jaid Nilon, next. "Their last year of high school is next year and I want to be a part of that," she added. "And Jaid is starting a new career and I want to be a part of that, too. Secondly, I have the most exciting projects that I am developing, producing, and acting in. I can't tell you anything right now, but you'll know soon."
