Luka Doncic returned to Dallas on Wednesday and absolutely torched his former team. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar put up 45 points, eight rebounds, six assists and four steals against the Dallas Mavericks in 38 minutes.
After the game, Doncic caught up with his former Dallas teammates. He also briefly spoke with former Mavericks owner Mark Cuban.
There were several cameras and microphones around Doncic after the Lakers-Mavericks game and LegendZ was able to capture what Cuban said to Doncic.
Cuban, who has publicly said multiple times that the Mavericks should not have traded Doncic, said the following to his former superstar after the Dallas-Los Angeles game:
"No, (expletive) you."
Cuban and Doncic were smiling and laughing during their brief interaction. It's evident that both guys are still on good terms.
Doncic didn't want to get traded by the Mavericks. However, Dallas GM Nico Harrison no longer wanted to build around Doncic, who averaged 28.6 points, 8.7 rebounds and 8.3 assists in 422 games with the Mavericks.
With his reunion game behind him now, Doncic is ready to focus on the playoffs.
"I got to focus on different things now," Doncic said after the Lakers-Mavericks game.
In 27 games with the Lakers, Doncic is averaging 27.8 points, 8.1 rebounds and 7.6 assists.
