Joan and Chock's New York City love shack could be a reality pretty soon, as they recently told E! Online that they found an ideal home in Soho. With that in mind, they may decide that eloping in that cosmopolitan city is an ultra-romantic decision. During his chat with E! Online on Dec. 7, Chock bemoaned the fact that "inventory" was low this winter. However, they did find something suitable, so they may sign on the dotted line soon. Joan's wish list for a New York City home includes a balcony where Chock can smoke cigars.
In the clip shown above, via the official Tina Turner YouTube channel, the late and great Tina sings about hope, love and the happiness that they bring. She trusts her partner completely and wants to be with him forever. It seems like Joan feels just the same about Chock, as she's close to buying real estate with him. In her eyes, Chock's perfect.
Buying a home together is a form of commitment, and it bodes well, hinting that the duo may decide to marry soon enough. An elopement would be a fun way to do that, as they'd avoid the stress and hassle of a great big wedding. If they choose to elope in New York, there will be so many fun options. This is the city that never sleeps, and the possibilities are endless.
Joan and Chock, shown dancing together in the Instagram post above, could marry in Central Park - the gorgeous green space has a host of charming features, including Strawberry Fields (a tribute to John Lennon), Bethesda Terrace and Fountain, Bow Bridge and Belvedere Castle.
In Central Park, couples can marry without permits, except at the Conservatory Garden, as long as they don't invite more than 20 guests.
As Earth signs, both are practical, organized and interested in leading very productive lives. However, both have a touch of humility that makes them pleasant company. Virgos and Capricorns go together like peanut butter and jelly.
Yes, Chock's done well in life, and doesn't hide the fact that he is seemingly well-to-do, but he doesn't really rub it in people's faces either. In fact, he can be quite down to earth, praising his children online and whipping up the Chock-A-Noodle soup that won Joan over. She's an elegant woman who chose to read a poem she wrote during the talent portion of The Golden Bachelor. The simplicity of her approach, and her sincerity, made her stand out.
Joan handled that very well, praising Chock for fixing her closet when a shelf fell. When there was a problem with her closet, she believed that her ex-husband was giving her a sign, telling her that she owned too much stuff. Joan's pulled between the past and present, and also needs to plan a future.
With a strong, devoted man by her side, and a Big Apple love nest to boot, she may just have it all. Hopefully, wedding bells will ring for The Golden Bachelorette stars before too long. It's so nice when people can overcome the challenges of life and just be happy.
