This Lightning prospect has been called back up to the NHL roster.
The Tampa Bay Lightning have announced that they have recalled forward prospect Gage Goncalves from their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Syracuse Crunch.
Goncalves has played in two games this season with the Lightning, where he has zero points and a minus-1 rating. He was re-assigned to the Crunch on Nov. 9, but now, following this call-up, he is right back with the NHL squad.
Goncalves is one of the Lightning's top prospects. He has been excellent in five games this season with the Crunch, posting six assists. This is after he put together an All-Star campaign with the Crunch last season, where he had 13 goals and 58 points in 69 games.
It will be fascinating to see how much of an impact he makes with the Bolts following this latest call-up from here.
