Lightning Reveal Interesting Opening Night Roster

   

The Tampa Bay Lightning have announced their opening night roster.

The Tampa Bay Lightning are currently scheduled to play their first game of the season on Oct. 11 against the Carolina Hurricanes. Because of this, they have announced their opening night roster, and it is certainly an interesting one. 

Future is bright for Lightning prospect Conor Geekie, but is it now?

Lightning top prospect Conor Geekie made the cut, and he will undoubtedly be a player who Bolts fans watch incredibly closely. He has an incredibly bright future, and it will be fun to see how he kicks off his NHL career with Tampa Bay. 

The Lightning also have an array of other new faces on their opening night roster. New star forward Jake Guentzel is, of course, on it. In addition, Cam Atkinson, J.J. Moser, and Zemgus Girgensons will make their Lightning debuts as well.
