The Detroit Lions are lacking depth at the cornerback position against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday as two players have been ruled out for the rest of Week 15's contest at Ford Field.
Khalil Dorsey suffered a serious injury towards the end of the second half and was carted off the field, as the entire Lions team surrounded him while he remained down on the field after the play.
The team since ruled it an ankle injury Dorsey is out for the rest of the game.
Dorsey was in the game because Carlton Davis III entered concussion protocol earlier in the game and was initially listed as questionable to return with a jaw injury.
However, Davis was downgraded to out coming out of halftime.
It's a tough position for Detroit to be in as MVP candidate Josh Allen has already had his way against the Lions' defense in the first half. As of writing early in the third quarter, the Bills already have over 400 yards of offense, including 282 through the air.
It's a recurring theme this season for Detroit's defense, as its lost players such as Aidan Hutchinson, Mekhi Wingo, John Cominsky, Derrick Barnes, Alex Anzalone, Malcolm Rodriguez, and others to injuries.
With Emmanuel Moseley ruled out ahead of Sunday's contest, the Lions will turn to players like Kindle Vildor and Brandon Joseph to fill in in Detroit's secondary.
