Lions fan takes it to another level to pay homage to Amon-Ra St. Brown

A Rochester, Michigan bakery made news recently when it created a life-size cake depicting the headstand touchdown celebration Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown did in Week 9 against the Green Bay Packers.

This coming week St. Brown is making a public appearance there, with a contest to win two tickets to the Lions' Divisional Round game for anyone who makes a purchase Monday-Thursday.

Recently, a drone show in Windsor, Ontario also paid homage to St. Brown's touchdown celebration.

So clearly, it was time for someone to up the ante.

Jamison Agnello of Harrison Township, Michigan did just that. Agnew is a real estate agent for J Michael Realty in Silver Shores, but in his free time in likes to create snow art.

"Whenever we have the right conditions, I try to do something like this,” Agnello told MLive. “If I can squeeze this in after work and get out there with the family, I’m going to try and do it.”

Snow fell Friday in Michigan, so on Saturday Agnello and his family went out and built a seven-foot tall snow sculpture of St. Brown's touchdown celebration from back in November.

"The snow wasn’t even that great, either", Agnello said. "It was 30 degrees outside, but we had no clouds. We had great sunshine that was heating the snow up just a little bit so it would pack. We actually had to heat some of the snow in the garage so it would pack better.”

Agnello told MLive he isn't even really much of a sports watcher, but he has taken notice of what Dan Campbell and the Lions are doing.

"These last couple of years, just watching coach Dan Campbell get these guys so excited and playing beyond their limits or just exceeding what people expected, it’s just amazing and it’s infectious", Agnello said.

Of course people have stopped by to visit the St. Brown snow sculpture, to a level Agnello didn't necessarily expect.

"I never thought I would have done a football player out front", Agnello said. "The type of stuff I do are Disney characters or animals. We expect neighbors to come by, but there have been a lot of others already stopping over for a look.”

Here are a couple photos of the St. Brown snow sculpture. It is a work of art.
