Lions Rookie Planning to Troll Packers During Week 1 Matchup

The Detroit Lions' decision to trade three third-round picks to give themselves a chance to draft wide receiver Isaac TeSlaa was one that was met with some skepticism back in April.

Lions Rookie Planning to Troll Packers During Week 1 Matchup

It was a lot to give up for a player who wasn't the most productive in college and plus a position where the Lions already had a lot of talent.

Since he was selected, he's been saying the right things to make Lions fans feel like he already fits on this team.

Back in May he revealed that he hates the Green Bay Packers "with a burning passion".

Now he has found himself talking about the Lions' NFC North rival again.

During a recent appearance on "Up & Adams", Kay Adams asked TeSlaa if he would do a "Lambeau Leap" if he scored a touchdown during the Week 1 matchup between the Lions and Packers.

He told her he would.

TeSlaa said, "I think if I can find like a little muddle of Lions fans, which I'm sure the stadium will be half Lions fans anyways, so I'm sure I can find a little pocket."

TeSlaa is going to be facing an uphill battle to find the end zone in his first NFL game. His spot on the depth chart still has not been finalized, but his best-case scenario is that he'll be the team's WR3.

That will leave him facing some stiff competition to get the attention of Jared Goff.

Now he's given the Packers' defense some added incentive to ensure that he doesn't find he end zone in this matchup.

However he turns out as an NFL prospect, there is one thing that's certain about TeSlaa. He's going to add a bit more fun to these Lions-Packers matchups as long as he's a part of them.
