List of Walking Dead universe actors, movies, and series nominated for Saturn Awards

   

The nominations list for the 52nd Annual Saturn Awards has been revealed, and several categories see Walking Dead actors against each other. It is exciting to see so many TWD spinoffs get some recognition. There is also a long list of movies and shows with nominations that feature the talents of some of our favorite TWDU actors.

List of Walking Dead universe actors, movies, and series nominated for Saturn  Awards

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon has been nominated for Best Horror Television Series with Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire, Evil, From, Grotesquerie, and Teacup. Walking Dead director, EP, and SFX guru Greg Nicotero's Creepshow was also nominated in this category.

The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live has been nominated in the Best Television Presentation category. Other titles also nominated include Apartment 7A, Don't Move, Fargo, Ripley, and Salem's Lot.

The Best Actor in a Television Series category features Andrew Lincoln for his performance in The Ones Who Live and Norman Reedus for the Daryl Dixon spinoff. Other actors in this category include Colin Farrell, Walton Goggins, Jon Hamm, Harold Perrineau, Kurt Russell & Wyatt Russell, who appeared in the TWD web series The Oath.

Danai Gurira and Melissa McBride have been nominated for Best Actress in a Television Series for their performances in The Ones Who Live and the Daryl Dixon series, respectively. Additional actresses nominated include Emma D'Arcy, Rosario Dawson, Jodie Foster, Kathryn Hahn, and Ella Purnell.

Pollyanna McIntosh has been nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Television Series along with Jennifer Connelly, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Cristin Milioti, Elizabeth Saunders, Anna Sawai, and Rebecca Wisocky. McIntosh's nomination is for her outstanding performance in The Ones Who Live.

The Ones Who Live actor Matthew Jeffers has been nominated for his performance in the Best Guest Star in a Television Series. Mark Hamill, Martin Kove, Kyle MacLachlan, Andrew Martin, Aubrey Plaza, and Ke Huy Quan have also been nominated.

Daryl Dixon actor Louis Puech Scigliuzzi has been nominated in the Best Younger Performer in a Television Series. Other nominees include Zackary Arthur, Hannah Cheramy, Camerson Crovetti, Rhenzy Feliz, Joe Locke, Xolo and Mariduena.

Walking Dead actor Kyle Gallner (Zach) was nominated for Best Actor in a Film for his performance in Strange Darlings. He is nominated alongside Tom Blything, Nicolas Cage, Timothée Chalamet, David Dastmalchian, Michael Keaton, and Ryan Reynolds.

Additionally, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, starring Dead City's Logan Kim (Hershel), was nominated for Best Fantasy Film. Other movies nominated for this category are Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, My Old Ass, Poor Things, and Wonka.

Longlegs, starring Walking Dead's Alicia Witt (Paula), and Smile 2, starring Walking Dead's Gallner have been nominated for Best Horror Film with Abigail, Alien: Romulus, The First Omen, In a Violent Nature, and A Quiet Place: Day One.

Gallner also stars in Strange Darling, a thriller nominated for Best Thriller Film, along with Blink Twice, Saltburn, and Speak No Evil. Civil War, which sees an appearance by World Beyond actress Alexa Mansour and Wolfs, starring Walking Dead's Austin Abrams, were also nominated in this category.

Strange Darling was also nominated for Best Film Direction (JT Mollner), Best Film Screenwriting, Best Film Makeup, Best Supporting Actress in a Film (Barbara Hershey), and Best Film Editing (Christopher Robin Bell).

Longlegs was also nominated for Best Supporting Actor in a Film (Nicolas Cage), Best Film Screenwriting, Best Film Production Design, and Best Film Make-up.

Smile 2 was nominated for Best Actress in a Film (Naomi Scott), Best Film Music, and Best Film Make-up.

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire has been nominated for Best Film Music, Best Younger Performer in a Film, and Best Film Costume.

Star Trek: Discovery, which stars Walking Dead's Sonequa Martin-Green, has been nominated for Best Science Fiction Television Series,

Bosch: Legacy, which stars Walking Dead's Madison Lintz (Sophia) and High Potential starring Fear the Walking Dead actor Garret Dillahunt have been nominated for Best Action/Thriller Television Series with Cobra Kai, Found, Presumed Innocent, True Detective: Night Country, and Tulsa King are also nominated.

The Boys, along with Agatha All Along, Loki, The Penguin, Superman & Lois, and The Umbrella Academy, has been nominated for Best Superhero Television SeriesThe Boys stars TWDU actors Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Colby Minifie, and Jessie T. UsherWalking Dead's Michael Zegen stars in The Penguin, and Michael Cudlitz and Chad L. Coleman star in Superman & Lois.
