Clifford and Pratt each had a chance to make a strong case and break away with the backup role during Saturday’s 30-7 win at home over the.  However, neither Clifford nor Pratt delivered a strong performance to lock up the gig.

Again, LaFleur did not rule out looking outside for another quarterback who gets released by another team.

“We’ll see,” LaFleur said. “It’s similar to the kicking competition in terms of there were some really good moments, and then there were some things we absolutely have to do better, and then we’ll evaluate everything that’s out there for us.

“I thought they competed hard. There’s a couple throws you always want to have back.”

How did Clifford and Pratt do in the Ravens game?

Michael Pratt

Against the Ravens, Pratt completed eight of his 12 pass attempts for 80 yards and a touchdown. Pratt found wideout Bo Melton for an 18-yard touchdown in the second quarter to give the Packers the lead. He was intercepted, though, on a first and 10 situation inside Baltimore territory in the third quarter.

Clifford, on the other hand, went 6-of-14 for 53 passing yards and a touchdown. Clifford’s touchdown toss to wide receiver Malik Heath in the third quarter extended the Packers’ lead to 20 points.
