Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky announced their separation in October 2023.
Even so, fans were surprised when photos surfaced of Mau kissing another woman at the Mykonos airport in July 2024. Needless to say, Kyle wasn’t happy seeing her husband of 27 years in the arms of a scantily-clad woman, even though they were officially separated.
Who was Mauricio Umansky kissing at the airport?
In Bravo’s sneak peek of Season 14, Episode 15, Mau finally fesses up about the kiss. Self-consciously stirring his coffee, he reports what he did on his summer vacation.
“It was nice. Lot of spas. A lot of sound healing, spiritual healing,” Mau recalls about being in Mykonos.
“This is very awkward,” Kyle says in a confessional. She knows he’s just putting off the inevitable.
“It was the first time I ever [went] without, you know, the family,” Mau continues. “I wanted to … be alone and take advantage of, you know, seeing what that looks like. Just … run around and make decisions last minute.”
Finally, he bites the bullet. “Obviously, in Mykonos, I got photographed, you know, at the airport,” he admits. “You know that I would never want to do anything on purpose that would hurt you or the kids. I really am sorry for hurting you.”
In an earlier scene during Episode 14, Kyle told her sister Kathy Hilton that she didn’t know the woman’s identity. But paparazzi wasted no time identifying her as Nikita Kahn, a Russian-born model/actress 20 years younger than Kyle. Ouch.
Kyle accepts that Mau will date other women, just as she’ll see other people. But it must be hard to watch your long-time partner make out in public with his current bae.
Even more so, Kyle worried about the effect of the online photos on their daughters. “I know that’s weird for them,” she said. “They’ve only seen their mother and father together … They, of course, were upset by seeing that picture.”
