It has to be pretty exhausting to be a fan of a team that doesn't consistently nail the draft. Meanwhile, Philadelphia Eagles fans got to see their organization pull off yet another masterclass over the weekend.
It all began with one of the steals of the draft as the Eagles were able to land stud linebacker in Jihaad Campbell in the waning moments of Round 1 after trading up with the Kansas City Chiefs. The idea that Campbell was a steal isn't just some random thought, either.
Notable draft guru Mel Kiper Jr. thought the Eagles got themselves quite the value in Campbell.
In his draft grades for all 32 teams, Kiper noted that in the first round, he thought the Eagles could go defensive line.
"Roseman went a slightly different direction, however, adding versatile off-ball linebacker Jihaad Campbell, who I thought could go in the top 20 picks," he wrote.
Following Round 1, the Eagles were able to land one of the hardest-hitting defensive backs in his class when they took Texas safety Andrew Mukuba. Kiper sure loved that selection as well:
"I mentioned in my Friday night recap how much I like safety Andrew Mukuba, whom Philly got at the end of Round 2," he wrote. Kiper also mentioned Mukuba "hits like a linebacker."
From top to bottom, Roseman did something he's done very well and for a while now. He takes whom he believes to be the best player on his board. That might have left the team not attacking edge rusher until Round 7, but so be it. Roseman got his hands on some talent, nonetheless.
Cameron Williams could be a sneaky pick who was landed all the way on Day 3. Williams has so many raw traits that are easy to fall in love with. It's just a lack of experience holding him back at this point.
"On Day 3, offensive tackle Cameron Williams could be a steal -- if Philly can help him put all of his talent together," Kiper also noted.
It wasn't hard to love the entirety of Roseman's 2025 class, and Kiper agreed, giving Philadelphia a strong A- for their haul.
"Roseman has done it again, selecting solid players throughout the draft," Kiper concluded.
