In theory, co-parenting should be simple. In reality, it can be a nightmare. Unfortunately for Michelle Lally from The Valley, it seems like her experience is the latter. She recently went on Instagram and cried over the struggles she’s having with her ex, Jesse Lally.

Michelle and Jesse called it quits just days before The Valley Season 1 premiered. The two of them share a daughter named Isabella, and the last we saw of them on the show, they were working on navigating the “sh*t storm kaleidoscope of divorce.” Clearly, they’re still in the thick of that storm.
In an Instagram Q&A, someone asked Michelle how co-parenting was going. Her response? Michelle shared a video of herself crying to “Lose You to Love Me” by Selena Gomez. We’ve all been there.

In the next slide, she expanded on her feelings about co-parenting. That’s when she took a shot at Jesse, who apparently isn’t making any of this easy.
“It’s not as simple as it looks,” Michelle said of co-parenting. “It really depends on both parents, and I’m dealing with a difficult person.”
Michelle opened a whole can of worms with that one. How is Jesse being difficult? If she doesn’t share the details now, then we’re definitely going to need her to expand on this in The Valley Season 2.
Either way, this is a dramatic difference from a few months ago when they were last asked about co-parenting. She previously told Bravo’s Daily Dish that things were “amazing.” Not only did she say things were going well, but she said there had also been a positive effect on their child. What happened since then?
