We are now less than two months away from the highly anticipated yet controversial fight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul. Following a postponement of the bout, which was originally scheduled for July, it seems to be going ahead despite the gap in age between the two boxers. And that is the exact reason the fight is even happening at all.
Tyson is currently 58 years old. Paul is 27. Rightfully, there are plenty who believe this fight shouldn't be allowed to happen due to Tyson's age. Though there is a minority that believe Paul should be the one worried for his own health, most think the gap will be too much and too dangerous. Tyson wants to prove every single doubter wrong.

Tyson posted a video clip of him discussing his age and how he wants to change everyone's opinion on what's considered "old".
I want to change biology, I want to change the way people think about age... People believe as they get older, we become weaker. We become less physically active at a high level. It's all psychological. If you believe, 'I feel bad, I feel old', you're old. If you believe you feel great then you feel great.
Tyson could have accepted fighting Paul for the big paycheck or to humble him. But at the end of the day, Tyson just wants to show everyone that no matter how old he is, he will always be "Iron Mike". November 15 can't come soon enough.
