Per USA Today's Josh Peter, Tyson's camp has converted a warehouse owned by Davis into a training spot for him to get ready for his first boxing match in nearly four years.

"Mark Davis is a friend of Mike's," Azim Spicer, Tyson's brother-in-law, told Peter via email. "Mark was super helpful in allowing us to utilize this space temporarily. His team has been awesome assisting us with the best vendors to build out Mike's vision."

The warehouse is located in Henderson, Nevada, near the Raiders' training headquarters.

Peter noted the space is a scaled-down version of the Mike Tyson Boxing Club located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The club opened in October and is designed to "support and train youth and adults interested in developing themselves in the sport of boxing and beyond."

Glimpses of the converted warehouse have been seen in training videos Tyson has posted.

The Tyson-Paul bout was first announced in March, but it wasn't clear at the time if it would be officially sanctioned or contested as an exhibition.

It was announced on April 29 that the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations has sanctioned the fight, which will be contested over eight two-minute rounds and count against the professional records of both fighters.

Tyson's last appearance in a boxing ring was on Nov. 28, 2020, when he fought to a draw against Roy Jones Jr. in an exhibition. This will mark his first professional bout since losing to Kevin McBride in June 2005.

The Tyson-Paul fight will take place on July 20 from AT&T Stadium and broadcast live on Netflix.
