Mike Tyson warned of what awaits him against Jake Paul: He's going to get knocked out

Demetrious Johnson has been insistent in warning Mike Tyson that it isn't a good idea to fight a young man like Jake Paul, especially after what 'The Problem Child' showed this Saturday in Tampa, knocking out Mike Perry emphatically.

Tyson had to withdraw from yesterday's card due to an ulcer flare-up that required medical attention. Although the fight was rescheduled for November 15, Johnson does not believe that the result will change.

Mike Tyson watches Jake Paul fight from his home like an evil villain

He believes that fighting Jake Paul would be disastrous for Tyson's career and the memory of what Iron Mike represents, because according to his analysis, he runs the risk of being knocked out.

Let's not forget that Tyson is a heavyweight legend, holding records as the youngest boxer to win a heavyweight title, as well as the first heavyweight boxer to hold the WBC, WBA and IBF titles in the division.

The former UFC world flyweight champion is not the least bit excited about the fight because he believes Tyson's current health status could put him at risk, as well as the 31-year age difference between the two fighters: 58 for Tyson, to 37 for Paul.

Paul has also begun to improve in the ring with a 10-1 record and a four-fight win streak, most recently a sixth-round knockout over Perry.

Demetrious Johnson's warning for Tyson about fighting Paul

With a video on his YouTube channel, Johnson analyzed what a bout between the two styles would be like: "I think he's going to knock Mike Tyson out. The reason is that I think Jake Paul has a chin that will allow him to withstand any punch that Mike Tyson throws at him."

He added that as the fight progresses Tyson will wear down and allow Paul to take control, even going as far as a knockout.

He had previously analyzed Jake Paul and Mike Tyson's previous fights and found that Iron Mike's style would be accessible to Jake Paul, especially when the former champion rushes forward in a reckless manner:

"Tyson tries to get into his opponents' defence in the vacuum created by his powerful strikes, usually stronger than his opponents'. This makes them miss and then he takes advantage of their aggressiveness. However, he no longer has the speed he used to have and Jake Paul has a counter to this move by throwing uppercuts. Tyson could get caught in one of those jabs because he ducks his head to come in, and cross him."
