Minnesota Vikings RT Brian O'Neill gets exciting news that will earn himself a nice paycheck

Right tackle Brian O'Neill has been named to the NFC roster for the Pro Bowl Games. He replaces Philadelphia Eagles right tackle Lane Johnson, who will miss the game because he will play in the Super Bowl the following Sunday.

Brian O'Neill makes the Pro Bowl Games

When the initial Pro Bowl Games roster was announced, O'Neill wasn't on it and it was frustrating. He is buried in a very deep position group that includes Johnson, Detroit Lions right tackle Penei Sewell, and San Francisco 49ers left tackle Trent Williams, who are all in front of him.

This is the second time that O'Neill has made the Pro Bowl with the first time being in 2021. It arguably should be more for the seven-year right tackle out of Pitt.

The 2024 season was arguably the best for O'Neill. He allowed four sacks and 26 pressures throughout the season, which were improvements over his 2023 season. O'Neill also had a four-game stretch this season where he didn't allow a single pressure.

The Pro Bowl Games take place this week down in Orlando, Florida.
