The New Orleans Saints would be smart to attempt to bring some Philadelphia Eagles coaches alongside Kellen Moore as their new head coach.
One name was specifically mentioned by an NFL insider shortly after the announcement that Moore would officially land in New Orleans.
Saints may hire notable Eagles assistant
According to Jeremy Fowler, Eagles associate head coach/pass game coordinator Kevin Patullo will be in the running for New Orleans' offensive coordinator position. The Eagles will most likely consider him for OC, too.
Nick Sirianni holds Patullo in high regards and recently made a strong statement regarding allowing his assistants interview with other teams this offseason.
Unless it is for a promotion, it seems like he would rather keep his guys on staff since they have built such a well-rounded staff, even after losing Kellen Moore to the Saints.
"I don't let that happen, usually. But sometimes you can't help it. Just like Frank said to me, 'this is my staff, and you can't have these guys.' It's hard to build the staff and have that continuity in there, but there's sometimes you can't — like the Nick Rallis situation, he had the opportunity to go and be promoted, and that's the way the rules are now. Every situation is a little different. But my general thought on that is, this is my and the Philadelphia Eagles' staff."

There are other assistants that Moore could target that are currently in Philly, too. Doug Nussmeier is an option for OC, and multiple defensive coaches could join Moore in New Orleans.
Only time will tell. Let's see how the 36-year-old decides to build his staff in the coming weeks.
