Plenty to be determined for the New Orleans Saints' 2025 NFL Draft plan. They could go a lot of different routes in round one.
Saints showing interest in LSU OT Will Campbell
The Saints recently met with LSU offensive tackle Will Campbell this weekend, according to Nick Underhill.
New Orleans holds the ninth overall pick. Campbell is widely expected to be selected in the top fifteen picks.
Campbell's biggest concern, particularly in recent weeks, is his length. Campbell has short arms, compared to top-flight tackle prospects of years past. He would be an outlier with his arm length if he is successful at OT at the pro level.

Will Campbell is a very easy evaluation and might be the easiest to make in the entire 2025 NFL Draft class. He's an elite prospect who supports his very good athletic ability with elite technique. Coaches and scouts rave about his mental makeup, and he became the first LSU offensive lineman to be awarded the Number 7 patch, given to the team's top playmaker from Louisiana.
His biggest issues as a prospect will be mitigated with a move inside to guard, and that move can also allow his skillset to shine with his fundamentals and athleticism. In my mind, there's no reason why he can't be a plug-and-play guard in any scheme with Pro-Bowl-caliber ability while still on his rookie contract.

Campbell does not think his arm length will prohibit him. He had some strong words for anyone doubting him simply due to those concerns.
"For two years, nobody had any measurements on me, and nobody said anything about my play. So now, all of a sudden, arm length decides if I’m a good player or not? I think it’s BS." -- Campbell on people scrutinizing his arm length
Regardless, Campbell could make sense for the Saints. If he has to move to guard, he projects as a real impressive interior OL, even with his limited length. New Orleans' long-term starting spot at LG is still undetermined.
If Campbell can stick at tackle, he could force Trevor Penning to a backup role or possibly inside if necessary. We will see if he's on the board for the Saints with the ninth selection.
