The New Orleans Saints had a tough 2024 season, there's no way around it. A 5-12 record and injuries to boot made things miserable to watch for the fanbase, and the injury problem has been one that has stuck around for multiple seasons now. With a complete staff restructure including some of the medical staff, maybe things turn around on that front for 2025 and conditioning will improve.
One of the injuries that occurred later in the season was to tight end Foster Moreau, as he would go down with a knee injury during Week 18 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and in-turn missed the remainder of the game, and season given it was the last matchup. He would end up having surgery as was reported by Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football, but the good news is, the veteran tight end is already back on his feet.
Moreau recently participated in a cooking demonstration at the Grow Dat Farm with Chef Serigne Mbaye of Dakar NOLA. In photos from the event both from the Saints' social channels and website, he could be seen standing with pressure on both legs, without a cast, bandages, crutches, or anything really indicating the injury had occurred.
While any knee surgery is extremely concerning, especially concerning ligament damage, it seems recovery is going well for him, and the fact that he is already able to stand unassisted so soon after a procedure is a positive sign without a doubt. Hopefully, everything goes well and he is able to be ready for training camp, or at minimum preseason so he can get some game action before the season kicks off.
