The Cleveland Browns proved to be the most resilient team during the 2023 NFL season as they overcame several injuries to key players to qualify for the 2024 NFL Playoffs.
The Browns lost Deshaun Watson for the season due to a shoulder injury, but they were dealt an even bigger blow when Nick Chubb suffered a terrible knee injury that forced him to miss the remainder of the year.
Chubb was the heart and soul of the offense as he was one of the NFL’s best pure runners and routinely made plays whenever he had the football in his hands.
Fortunately, Chubb underwent successful surgery and is expected to return at some point during the 2024 NFL season though there’s no rush for the Browns.
Cleveland would certainly like to get their star running back on the field as soon as possible, but his health should be everyone’s first priority.
Chubb admitted that this offseason he’s been focusing on trying to regain his form via ESPN Cleveland.
“Now I’m just trying to catch up to get to the person I once was,” Chubb said.

In the video, Chubb is seen getting ready to do a workout and talks about how this time of the year is usually spent on gearing up for the season.
This time around, though, he’s simply trying to get back to full health which certainly must be frustrating.
The Browns have enough talent on the roster to make another playoff run, though getting a healthy Chubb back would go a long way in helping their efforts.
