One day, Doug Pederson will determine he's done with coaching and wants to kick his feet up. Hopefully, he'll do so on his terms, but when he does, every trip to the City of Brotherly Love will be handled like a hero's welcome. He deserves that. He's the only man to ever lead the Philadelphia Eagles to a Super Bowl win as this franchise's head coach.
These days, he paces the sidelines as the Jacksonville Jaguars' head coach. His most recent visit to Lincoln Financial Field came with him playing the role of opponent. That was October 2, 2022.
Just over two years later, he's back. Say hello to the bad guy. Then again, Doug can never be seen as 'the enemy' right? Nick Sirianni is Philly's current HC. He hopes to deliver a Vince Lombardi Trophy too. In the meantime, you won't be hearing negative feedback from him.

This Sunday, Doug makes his second return to Philly as the Jacksonville Jaguars' head coach. We've had November 4th circled on our calendars for a while.
We originally did so because this was supposed to be a primetime game on Sunday Night Football. League offices took care of that. Now, this one kicks off at 4:05 pm EST.
Every week, Nick calls in to 94 WIP-FM's Morning Show. He did so most recently ahead of Philly's clash with the Jags. When the subject turned to the man he replaced, Coach Sirianni was very complimentary.
That's an awesome story. Then again, what else would we expect? Why would we think Doug would do anything else?
Standing ovations might need to wait until Doug returns and isn't leading the opposing team. But, until that happens, don't expect enormous levels of hostility either.
