Nikola Jokic's injury status and update ahead of Lakers vs. Nuggets March 19

At this point, the Los Angeles Lakers seem to play the Nuggets every few games. LA will play Denver on Wednesday for the second time in six days, except this time, the Nuggets are in California.

NBA Fans React to Nikola Jokic Injury News Before Lakers-Nuggets

The Lakers fell to the Nuggets 131-126 last Friday in a game without Luka Doncic and LeBron James. It took Jamal Murray (who else?) hitting a late three-pointer to give the Nuggets the lead, and Russell Westbrook sealed the win with a steal and a dunk. Losing to Denver is never fun, but it was encouraging to see Austin Reaves and LA take the Nuggets to the wire while shorthanded.

Denver is one game ahead of the Lakers in the conference standings, so a win would be huge for LA. The Lakers are 1-0 against the Nuggets in games Luka plays, so why not make it 2-0?
