Aaron Rodgers and former New York Jets head coach Bill Belichick are apparently in the same social circles according to renowned sportswriter Ian Rapoport. On Monday, Rapoport spoke about this very topic on ‘Good Morning Football’, discussing the qualities that Rodgers and Belichick share in terms of their friends and confidants.
Bill Belichick is currently no longer in the NFL and is presently the head coach of the North Carolina Tar Heels. The last NFL team that Belichick coached was the New York Jets and from 2000 to 2003, he was an advisor with the New England Patriots.
“I would say the same thing with Rodgers as [I] used to say with Bill Belichick, somewhat similar situation. People who claim to know what they’re thinking should really question that source. Not a lot of people they talk to. People they do talk to don’t necessarily talk to people like me, and if they do, they want to make sure that what they say doesn’t get reported. So really, what you have to do is lean on facts.” Ian Rapoport said about Aaron Rodgers and Bill Belichick on ‘Good Morning Football’ on Monday.
Aaron Rodgers last played for the New York Jets and was let go by the team in the previous month after not putting up great numbers for the team in the 2024 NFL season. Rodgers is still yet to make a decision about his next team, and with the NFL draft approaching soon, he will need to make that decision pretty soon.

Aaron Rodgers Yet To Decide On Pittsburgh Steelers
It looks like the whole NFL world is waiting for Aaron Rodgers to make a decision on the Pittsburgh Steelers, including the Steelers themselves. Right now, the Pittsburgh Steelers seem to be the only team who are keenly interested in attaining the 42-year-old quarterback for their roster. Sadly, Rodgers has not made a decision on the team yet and has been keeping them in the dark for quite a while.

Apparently, Aaron Rodgers is also hoping to crack a deal with the Minnesota Vikings, as advised by his close friend and mentor, Brett Favre. Unfortunately for Rodgers, the Vikings don’t seem all that interested in getting him on board their roster.

Aaron Rodgers will nevertheless bring a truckload of experience and skill-sets to whichever team will have him. Despite a number of controversies surrounding Rodgers, the 42-year-old quarterback still has the potential to stun in the upcoming seasons, if he chooses to play.
