Packers HC Matt LaFleur Makes Big Announcement For Week 6 After Beating Rams

The Green Bay Packers played complementary football on Sunday afternoon, allowing them to take down the Los Angeles Rams.  Green Bay went into SoFi Stadium and took care of Los Angeles 24-19.  The defense forced turnovers, the offense scored off those turnovers, and special teams didn’t miss a beat.

It was a big win for a team looking to rebound after a division loss.  However, there could be more good news for the Packers in the coming days.

Packers HC Matt LaFleur Makes Big Announcement For Week 6 After Beating Rams

According to LaFleur, WR Romeo Doubs is expected back next week and that both sides managed to overcome the “distraction:”

“Yeah, I’m looking forward to our conversation tomorrow,” said LaFleur. “I fully anticipate him coming back, and I’m hopeful that he’ll come back and get ready to work.

Distractions happen in the National Football League. Distractions happen in life. You’ve got to do your best to focus on the task at hand, and I thought our guys did a pretty good job of that.”

Doubs now has to regain the trust of the Packers’ coaching staff. While he will likely resume his role as a featured contributor on offense, he needs to prove he is fully committed to the team moving forward. According to Bill Huber’s report for Sports Illustrated this week, Doubs didn’t show up to practice out of frustration over his role.

Hopefully, the two sides can find a resolution, which likely begins with a conversation on Monday.

Here is a look at Doubs’ season stats:
