Packers’ Hosting of 2025 NFL Draft Expected to Go Smooth as Hosts Set to Offer New Experience to Attending Fans

Green Bay Packers are leaving no stones unturned to make sure that this year’s NFL draft will be among the best ones in history.

The Wisconsin team was selected as the host for the first time ever (Milwaukee did host it in 1940) and fans will be treated to a different experience once they arrive in the venue.

The event will be held from April 24 to April 26 at the Lambeau Field which according to NFL senior director of events Nicki Ewell will be incorporated into the program.

One exciting activity will be the NFL Draft Experience which is a combination fair and festival wherein fans of all teams can gather for different activities.

“That groundskeeper has a voodoo doll of me, I know it,” Ewell said per Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

“They wanted to do something that was really special, and having someone kick a field goal on the actual grass in Lambeau is unprecedented access. So we’re doing it very delicately, we have some decking down.”

One has to get lucky to experience this though as according to Ewell, “not everyone, of course, will be able to get down to the field.”

Green Bay Packers stadium getting customized?

Another thing being done to make sure that the 2025 NFL draft experience will be cozy is the renovation of the Lambeau Field.

“This is the first time we are getting so expansive inside the stadium,” Ewell said. “Think about the efficiency with bathrooms, concessions, actual seating inside the bowl.”

The organizers expect scores of fans to troop to the stadium and so, security is being handled with utmost care by collaborating with local authorities such as the Green Bay Police, Metro Fire, Ashwaubenon Public Safety and the Brown County Sheriff’s Office.

“Your public safety partners in this area are phenomenal. They have done an outstanding job,” said Ralph Ennis, the NFL’s director of investigations and security.

“A lot of the stuff we normally have to help facilitate they took the mantle and ran with it themselves.”
