‘Parsons Project’ In Full Effect In Cowboys Dominating 33-17 Win Over Browns

Dallas Cowboys fourth-year edge rusher Micah Parsons completely dominated the field in a 33-17 victory over the Browns in Cleveland on Sunday. The game wasn't even as close as the score would suggest.

Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson, working behind a make-shift offensive line, was running for his life most of the day as Parsons led the Cowboys never-ending pass rush.

The Cowboys defense totaled six sacks while holding the Browns to just 230 total yards. The Cowboys went up 27-3 early in the third quarter and basically coasted from there.

Cleveland could do nothing offensively. If Watson wasn't being sacked, he was flushed out of the pocket and running for his life. He was gassed midway through the third quarter. His body language knew the game was over, and it showed.

Dallas' defense held the Browns to just 3.3 yards per play. Parsons & Co. set the tone early in the game and they were relentless until the game was out of reach.

The Browns lost their starting right tackle at some point in the game, and they struggled even more. At the end of the day, the Browns never had a chance to get in rhythm because the Cowboys defense never let them, all spearheaded by the three-time All-Pro.

The Cowboys will now head home and turn their attention to the New Orleans Saints next Sunday at AT&T Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. CT.
