Patrick Mahomes Had No Words for Chiefs' Post on $4.5 Million News

Mahomes and the Chiefs have been at the top of the NFL standings for the past several seasons.

During the offseason, while Kansas City works through OTAs, Mahomes made a pit stop at a Kansas City event.

Mahomes attended the "Big Slick," a charity event for the Children's Mercy Hospital.

"Another @BigSlickKC in the books!" posted the official social media account of the Kansas City Chiefs. "Such an amazing turnout last weekend for an amazing Kansas City cause."

After the Kansas City Chiefs posted several photos from the Big Slick event, including a picture of Patrick Mahomes and actor Paul Rudd, the NFL quarterback reposted the photo, showing support for the charity event.

The "Big Slick" charity event, where Patrick Mahomes was in attendance alongside several known actors and the Kelce brothers, Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce.

During the charity event for the Children's Mercy Hospital, donors participated in a silent auction, bidding on over 50 items and experiences.

After the event, where hundreds of people came together at the silent auction, Patrick Mahomes helped raise over $4.5 million for the Children's Mercy Hospital, a medical center in Kansas City for pediatric patients.

The "Big Slick" was founded in 2010 and has since turned into a staple for the Children's Mercy Hospital.

Last season with the Kansas City Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes had yet another successful year, leading his time to a 17-3 record.

While defeating the Houston Texans and the Buffalo Bills in the postseason and helping Kansas City earn the AFC title, Mahomes posted 26 touchdowns and 3,928 yards, completing 67.5% of his pass attempts.
