Patrick Mahomes’ Mom Sends Exciting Message on Thursday

Thursday brought news from the Kansas City Chiefs’ franchise quarterback in an unexpected form: through Patrick Mahomes' mom, Randi Mahomes.

On Thursday, Randi revealed via Instagram that her online course, "The Sports Parent Academy," will officially launch on May 29, with a presale now open at a 20% discount.

"I’ve poured my heart into this because I’ve lived it," she wrote, emphasizing how she lived every twist and turn of Patrick’s journey from Little League through the NFL.

"A parent trying to navigate the ups and downs of raising an athlete. Along the way, we face challenges like any other family in sports," Randi said. "Now I want to take what I've learned and share it with you."

"Over the course of this academy, we'll dive into various stages of your child's athletic development. We'll talk about managing stress, handling pressure, even recognizing when it's time to step back... But more importantly, we'll focus on how you as a parent can be a source of positive influence, encouragement and strength for your child."

The 2024 regular season saw the Chiefs continue their AFC dominance, finishing with a league-best 15-2 record to secure a ninth straight AFC West title.

Mahomes threw for 3,928 yards and 26 touchdowns, guiding Kansas City to a 5-1 mark within the division and a perfect record at home in Arrowhead Stadium.

In the 2024-25 playoffs, Kansas City beat the Houston Texans 23-14 in the Divisional Round, setting up a classic AFC Championship clash with the Buffalo Bills. In a back-and-forth contest, the Chiefs rallied late to prevail 32-29 and earn their fourth consecutive Super Bowl berth.

However, Super Bowl LIX ended in disappointment as the Philadelphia Eagles topped Kansas City 40-22 in New Orleans.
