Patrick Mahomes' Playoff Message to Josh Allen Is Trending on Sunday

The Chiefs were able to make it to their seventh-straight conference championship after defeating the Houston Texans 23-14 in the Divisional Round. They did not play during Wild Card Weekend after securing the AFC's No. 1 seed and a bye.

The Bills, on the other hand, have had a longer path to the semifinals. They defeated the Denver Broncos 31-7 in the first round before taking down Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens 27-25 in round two.

Kansas City and Buffalo have already met once this season, when the Bills won 30-21 in Week 11, handing the Chiefs their first loss of the year.

After that contest, both Mahomes and Allen met midfield for a postgame handshake. Mahomes made sure to mention to Allen that they will meet again in the playoffs. And sure enough, he was right.

"We'll do it again, baby," Mahomes told Allen.

The NFL on CBS reposted the video following the Bills vs. Ravens game, and it is already gaining attention. Many NFL fans left their thoughts on Mahomes' message to Allen on social media.

"Sure enough.... ," one fan said.

"'We'll do it again...' Yup!" added a second.

"We knew it, can’t wait," wrote a third.

"Yes they will!" commented a fourth.

Other fans were quick to make their jokes about NFL officials favoring the Chiefs.

"When he says 'we’ll' he means the Chiefs and the refs," posted one fan.

"It will be tough playing against Mahomes refs," added another.

Both quarterbacks are off to solid starts in the playoffs. Allen, in two games, has thrown for 399 yards, two touchdowns and zero interceptions while adding another 66 yards and two scores on the ground.

Mahomes, in his lone game against Houston, tallied 177 passing yards, one touchdown and zero picks while adding 14 rushing yards.

The Chiefs and Bills will battle it out on Sunday, Jan. 26, at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.
