Patrick Mahomes Sends Strong Message to Chiefs Fans Before AFC Championship Game

This will be the fourth meeting between Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen in the playoffs, with Mahomes having won the three previous matchups.

On Thursday, the Chiefs star addressed the media and told Kansas City fans who would be in attendance to "take it up a notch" to "see how loud" Arrowhead Stadium can get.

"Chiefs Kingdom is always, they're always passionate, they're always loud," Mahomes said. "I would just say, let's even take it up a notch. Let's see how loud this place can really get. But I always appreciate the support and the love that they show for us. And so I'm just excited for another AFC Championship Game back at Arrowhead."

Mahomes also emphasized the Chiefs the Chiefs have to "put it all on the line" to head to their third consecutive Super Bowl.

"It's the AFC Championship Game," Mahomes added. "You got to put it all on the line in order to win and try to get to the Super Bowl. And this is a great football team we're going up against. So, I think all of us are going to go out there and give everything we have."

There’s no doubt Chiefs fans will make an impact on Sunday’s game. In a survey of 111 NFL players, Arrowhead Stadium was ranked as the toughest place to play.

Known for its loud atmosphere, it also holds the league record for the highest noise level at 142.2 decibels, set on Sept. 29, 2014.
