The Philadelphia Eagles' odds of winning their 2025 NFL kickoff game against the Dallas Cowboys just got a lot better following the latest unfortunate training camp update.
According to ESPN's Todd Archer, Cowboys' star left tackle Tyler Guyton suffered a leg injury during Monday's training camp practice, but will not need surgery.
"Tyler Guyton's ACL is intact after a MRI, according to a source. He has a bone fracture and will not require surgery. Looking at a 4-6 week recovery. Cowboys get better than expected news," Archer wrote.

That means Guyton may or may not be ready to go by September 4th's Thursday night kick-off against Philly in Week 1.
Even if he is ready to go, there's a good chance he's not 100 percent back to normal because that return timeline is cutting it really close.
The Cowboys used their 2024 first-round pick (No. 29 overall) to select Guyton out of Oklahoma. He appeared in 15 games and made 11 starts at left tackle as a rookie last year.
Can the Eagles Sweep Dallas Again?
In the 2024 NFL season, the Eagles absolutely dominated their rivalry with the Cowboys, sweeping both regular-season matchups.
In Week 10, the Eagles traveled to AT&T Stadium and secured a 34–6 victory a Dallas team missing starting quarterback Dak Prescott. Philly's QB1 Jalen Hurts led the offense with four touchdowns, while linebacker Zack Baun guided a defense that forced five turnovers, including two fumbles and a recovery. The win marked the Eagles' first in Dallas since 2017.
The rematch in Week 17 at Lincoln Financial Field was even less exciting. Despite resting Hurts, the Eagles cruised to a 41–7 win and clinched the NFC East title. Backup quarterbacks Kenny Pickett and Tanner McKee combined for four touchdowns, while star running back Saquon Barkley surpassed 2,000 rushing yards for the season, becoming the ninth player in NFL history to achieve that milestone. Philadelphia’s defense once again dominated, forcing four turnovers, including a pick-six by former safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson.
Things will look different this year when the two teams meet, especially with Prescott expected to be back at full health. However, that shouldn't be enough to keep the Eagles from keeping up their hot streak, particularly if Guyton is sidelined.
